Criminal conviction reports for rental applicants.
MyRental Criminal Reports show you whether an applicant has a criminal conviction on record, drawing from trusted government sources.
What's included? Convictions only. We surface records from the Department of Corrections (DOC), covering state prisons and incarcerations, and from the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), which provides court records for criminal events resulting in a conviction.
What's not included? Non-conviction records. Arrests without convictions, dismissed charges, cases under deferred adjudication and pending cases are not reported in MyRental Criminal Reports.
**Criminal Reports are subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations that may restrict MyRental’s capacity to return some records. Additional Surcharges/Court Fees apply when applicable. Certain jurisdictions may also restrict what records are available for return. Please note, criminal record information is not available in Massachusetts due to state reporting restrictions. As per this coverage map, it is recommended to order an individual statewide or county search for any state in gray in order to ensure coverage.
